For men (Basic style guide)

1. 1.Classics work best – A well cut white shirt, a white t-shirt, sleek black jeans, tailored cardigan, vest. Stick to simple, minimal designs as they are useful for mixing and matching. You can’t go wrong with classics. Try a plain shirt with a patterned tie, but not too many bright colours, that’s too much.
   

2. 2.Be inspired – If you’re looking to improve the way you dress, identify one or two celebrities you think you want to aspire to look like. Eg. David Beckham, Brad Pitt, Justin Timberlake, etc. It’s easier if they have a similar body shape to your own. If not, work on your body fats. *wink*
   

3. 3.Own it – every man needs to own a pair of shoes that can be distinctly recognized as his. Even a pair of converse sneakers can be worn at a fancy function. Be prepared to buy a pair of good shoes that are well made and comfortable. Good shoes represent a sign of power, taste and personality. A girl would notice an elegant shoe; it’s charming and sexy.
   

4. 4.Enhance yourself – Taste is choosing to wear clothes that enhance your physique and topping it off with a great haircut. A clean and sleek style will never be outdated.
   

5. 5.Moderation – Keep accessories interesting and sexy. But never wear too much.
   

6. 6.Every man needs a suit! How to wear a suit? A good suit is one with good cutting and fit. If it is a suit with 3 buttons, button the top two ones. If there’s only 2 buttons, button the top one. Never button all. Unbutton your suit before you sit down. When you stand up to go somewhere, button your suit before you leave. The tie should just touch your belt.  The suit pants should be fitting and not too long. It should just cover half your leather shoes.
   

7. 7.The weekend bag – Not a big beat up bag you got from the bank as a gift. A great masculine bag is the kind of investment every man should make.
   

8. 8.Jeans- The sexiest thing a man can wear is a nice pair of jeans. Nothing too light, and they shouldn’t be too tight or too loose. Do not fold your jeans, alter it.
   
   

9. 9.Cologne – Women like men to smell good. But don’t spray too much.
   

10. 10.The sunglasses- Classic Aviator type. Ray bans probably but not the diamond encrusted type not too flashy.
